Canada started fundraising money for a Bayraktar drone for the Armed Forces of Ukraine

A non-profit organization of Ukrainian-Canadian volunteers "UhelpUkraine" initiated the fundraising.

"Around the world, our allies in Lithuania, Ukraine and Poland have raised millions of dollars to secure and procure the renowned Bayraktar drone. It's time for Canadians to step up and do the same," said the organizers of the gathering.

The initiators plan to raise $7 million Canadian dollars. The main task is to deliver the drone to the Ukrainian military by the Independence Day on August 24.
